The Magic Returns Mardi Gras in the Spa
Get ready for another unforgettable year of Mardi Gras magic, community, music, food, costumes and celebration in Hot Springs. In 2027, we’re bringing you two incredible events while continuing our mission of giving back to our community.
The Tradition Continues
What began as a new idea in 2026 quickly became something special. Thousands of people gathered in downtown Hot Springs to celebrate, connect and help us give back to our community.
Now we’re building on that foundation and bringing even more Mardi Gras magic to Hot Springs in 2027.
Two Incredible Events
Mardi Gras in the Spa grows in 2027 with an elegant night of celebration followed by our signature downtown festival.
2027 Masquerade Ball
Dress up, put on your mask and join us for an unforgettable evening featuring dinner, live entertainment, dancing, Mardi Gras royalty, auctions and charitable giving.
Mardi Gras in the Spa
The celebration returns with live entertainment, food, drinks, vendors, costume contests, Mardi Gras royalty, family-friendly fun and plenty of beads.
Celebrating for Something Bigger
Mardi Gras in the Spa has always been about more than beads, costumes and a great party.
Our goal is to bring people together, create something special for Hot Springs and use that celebration to help people who need it.
In 2027, proceeds from our events will help support Project HOPE Food Bank and its work fighting hunger and food insecurity throughout our community and beyond.
Join the Mardi Gras Procession
Build It. Decorate It. Bring the Mardi Gras Magic.
In 2027, we’re planning a small and creative Mardi Gras procession as part of the downtown celebration.
Local businesses, organizations, clubs, families and groups will have the opportunity to submit ideas for a small Mardi Gras “float” using a golf cart, side-by-side, wagon or similar small vehicle.
Think purple, green and gold. Think costumes, beads, lights, music and personality. Most importantly — think creative.
Interested teams will be asked to submit their concept in advance. Entries will be reviewed and selected based on creativity, appearance, Mardi Gras spirit and how well the idea fits the overall celebration.
Walking groups and other creative concepts may also be considered.

In 2027, we’re building on what we started — and we’re just getting warmed up.
